Greystar purchased the land
Since purchasing the Bermondsey Project site, Greystar has been reviewing approved plans and identifying areas which could be improved for the benefit of all.
Getting to know the community
Over the last few months we’ve been introducing ourselves and getting to know members of the Bermondsey community.
Hosted exhibitions, attended community events & submitted the planning application
We held public exhibitions and community events to give local residents the opportunity to learn more about our planning application and share their views. We also attended local community events to stay connected and listen to the priorities of Bermondsey residents.
Started site preparation works
We have started delivering the critical infrastructure upgrades on the ground which will prepare the site for wider construction to follow.
New school building completed
We are delighted that the new school building is now complete with the Charter School Bermondsey enjoying its new facilities.
Planning approval received and planned construction starts
While construction is underway, we will be looking for opportunities to get involved with and support Bermondsey community groups and initiatives, as well as supporting employment in Southwark through our jobs and skills commitments.
Construction continues on site
Construction continues to progress on-site at Bermondsey, with a target for completion of all Greystar building works by the end of 2027.
