It has been a fantastic year for the project and we continue to make great progress on-site at Bermondsey. We are working hard to minimise disruption to our neighbours and appreciate your patience as we continue work to deliver the new homes, shops, and public spaces for Bermondsey.

SOME MAJOR MILESTONES THIS YEAR

• Planning permission granted for new homes and public realm
• Commenced construction on new residential developments
• Appointment of affordable housing provider to deliver 338 social rental homes

CONSTRUCTION QUERIES

We are pleased to introduce Ana who has recently become our new dedicated community liaison officer who some of you will have met at the last residents meeting. Ana will be out in the local area introducing herself to our neighbours over the next few weeks. We continue to actively monitor construction vehicle movements to ensure the safety of all road users, including all measures we previously put in place to minimise the transfer of dust and mud to the surrounding roads. Daily noise and vibration readings continue to be taken and monitored to ensure environmental control limits are adhered to.

CONSTRUCTION WORKING HOURS

We are committed to being a considerate neighbour and will be working hard to ensure that any disruption caused by our construction work is kept to a minimum. Our usual construction working hours are as follows:

• 8am to 6pm, Weekdays
• 9am to 2pm, Saturdays

We have carried out all crane erections for the year which for safety reasons were completed out of hours, we will continue to endeavour to provide advanced notice of any upcoming out of hours works if required in the future.

UPCOMING WORKS

In order to continue progress on site and install vital infrastructure to service the future homes, there are some upcoming activities that may impact local traffic.

• Drummond Road District Heat Network Connections; These works have had to be deferred for technical reasons. These are planned to commence in January, and further correspondence will be issued with firm dates.

We will also be coordinating with Thames Water and UK Power Networks who are due to undertake unrelated works in the surrounding area over the next period.
