We’re pleased to announce that the Bermondsey Project Community Grant Fund is now open and accepting applications.

At Greystar, we are committed to ensuring the Bermondsey Project supports local residents, community groups and businesses which make Bermondsey a welcoming and fun place for all.

Over the past two years, Greystar has been delighted to have supported and been involved with numerous local initiatives, including but not limited to the Bermondsey Carnival, Bankside Open Spaces Trust Festival, Charter School Bermondsey work experience, Southwark Business Excellence Awards, and the Bermondsey Street Festival. Most recently we’ve supported the Charter School Bermondsey’s Music Program which will allow the school to continue providing a leading music curriculum to 185 pupils every week, with public performances along the way.

To reflect local priorities and ensure opportunities are maximised and wide-reaching, the Community Grant Fund will be supporting local initiatives which focus on the follow four key themes:

• Community Wellbeing – Targeting investment to create a safer environment for residents and improved wellbeing in the community
• Education – Actively supporting local high-quality education and raising awareness in schools of employment and training opportunities
• Skills Development & Employment – Supporting local people into long-term employment opportunities, both during construction and thereafter
• Business & Enterprise – Revitalising the neighbourhood, creating opportunities for businesses and encouraging enterprise to support the re-establishment of a thriving local economy.

If you’re involved with or aware of a local community initiative which is in need of support then we’d love to hear about it. As well as financial support, the Greystar team is keen to get involved with and offer personnel support to local people too. So, if there’s an initiative that we could help you to promote, provide business advice on, or lend a set of hands to, then please do get in touch.

Our application process is now open, you can download the application form here. We have extended the deadline for submissions to Friday 22^nd November 2024, with funding recipients to be notified later in the year. Please submit your application via email to info@greystar-bermondseyproject.com.

We encourage local initiatives and community projects that benefit people in Bermondsey to apply, and we’ll carefully consider each application we receive based on its own merits.
