We are continuing to make good progress on site in Bermondsey. Partial demolition of the old packing factory is nearing completion, and construction of the foundations for the new buildings is well advanced.
We are working hard to minimise disruption to our neighbours and appreciate your patience as we continue work to deliver the new homes, shops, and public spaces for Bermondsey. We continue to actively monitor construction vehicle movements to ensure the safety of all road users, and have put additional measures in place to minimise the transfer of dust and mud to the surrounding roads. Daily noise and vibration readings are also being taken and monitored to ensure environmental control limits are adhered to, minimizing disruption to our neighbours.
UPCOMING WORKS
In order to continue progress on site and install vital infrastructure to service the future homes, there are some upcoming activities that will impact local traffic and the surrounding area:
Crane Erection & Block S Concrete Pour
Southwark Council have approved out-of-hours working for the upcoming weekend, 13th and 14th July, to enable a crane erection on Plot ST. The hours of work over the weekend will be from;
In addition to the above, a large concrete pour for block S is scheduled for Wednesday 17th July 2024. To enable us to complete these works, out-of-hours working will be required from;

Stork’s Road and Clements Road Works
Upcoming infrastructure works will result in the closure of the southern part of Stork’s Road from the 15th of July, and its junction with Clements Road from the 22nd of July, for an anticipated period of 44 calendar days.
Traffic management will be implemented for vehicle and pedestrian diversions, and parking bays on this section of Storks Road will be suspended where necessary. Please get in contact if you have any queries or concerns about access to your property during this period.
We are committed to being a considerate neighbour and will be working hard to ensure that any disruption caused by our construction work is kept to a minimum. Our construction working hours are as follows:

8am to 6pm, Weekdays
9am to 2pm, Saturdays
