It’s been another busy month on site in Bermondsey and works are progressing well, with construction of the foundations for the new buildings and partial demolition of the old packing factory underway.

We are working hard to minimise disruption to our neighbours and appreciate your patience as we continue work to deliver the new homes, shops, and public spaces for Bermondsey. Multiple entrance gateways have been established around the site to improve traffic flow, and construction traffic marshals are actively monitoring vehicle movements to ensure the safety of all road users. Wheel washing stations have been set up at all exit gates to minimise the transfer of dust and mud to the surrounding roads, and road sweepers are visiting four times a week.

Daily noise and vibration readings are also being taken and monitored to ensure environmental control limits are adhered to, minimizing disruption to our neighbours.

We are also in communication with Southwark Highways regarding potential future pavement or road closures. This coordination includes work being undertaken in the area by Thames Water. We will provide further updates with more detailed information as it becomes available.

We are committed to being a considerate neighbour and will be working hard to ensure that any disruption caused by our construction work is kept to a minimum. Our construction working hours are as follows:

8am to 6pm, Weekdays

9am to 2pm, Saturdays
