Dear Resident,
It’s been another busy month on site in Bermondsey and works are progressing well, with construction of the foundations for the new buildings and partial demolition of the old packing factory underway.
We are working hard to minimise disruption to our neighbours and appreciate your patience as we continue work to deliver the new homes, shops, and public spaces for Bermondsey. Multiple entrance gateways have been created around the site to assist with traffic flow, and construction traffic marshals continue to monitor vehicle movements for the safety of all road users.
Noise and vibration readings are taken daily on site and are being monitored alongside environmental control limits to minimise disruption to our neighbours.
We are also liaising with Southwark Highways on requirements for potential future pavement or road closures, coordinating these with work being undertaken in the area by Thames Water. We will continue to communicate these in future updates once more detail is available.
We are committed to being a considerate neighbour and will be working hard to ensure that any disruption caused by our construction work is kept to a minimum. Our construction working hours are as follows:
CONSTRUCTION WORKING HOURS
8am to 6pm, Weekdays
9am to 2pm, Saturdays
