Subject: Construction Works Update, December 2023

Dear Resident,
It has been another productive month for the Bermondsey Project, with early construction works progressing and well underway. The construction of the new school is scheduled for completion in mid-December, with final touches being made, ready for students to move in following the Christmas break. Demolition of the old school buildings has been progressing well and is nearing completion on the Clements Road and Collett Road buildings, with demolition of the remaining buildings to commence in January.
Infrastructure works are also progressing well, notably around the old packing factory. Extensive surveys have been undertaken within the packing factory building in preparation for partial demolition works to begin early next year. Scaffolding is scheduled to be erected on this building from mid-January, in preparation for works commencing.

Looking ahead to this month, ground investigation works within the car park are nearing completion, and we will be continuing the demolition works on the old school buildings. Infrastructure works will continue to progress through the next period.
We are committed to being a considerate neighbour and will be working hard to ensure that any disruption caused by our construction work is kept to a minimum. Our construction working hours are as follows:

CONSTRUCTION WORKING HOURS
8am to 6pm, Weekdays
9am to 2pm, Saturdays
